Is it feasible to make Wine in the desert?

Yes, of course here is the viticulture secret.

Here in Israel's Negev desert produces great wine when compared to all other European countries. The secret behind this wine-growing is to make the plants to adopt and cop up with the extreme climatic conditions. To study more about desert viticulture, Dr. Fait joins with many Negev wineries and support from Israeli and Italian governments. He said that "climate is unpredictable and the growers are concerned more about climate". Most of Israel is arid, so they do desert agriculture to yield plentiful crops. They mostly follow the drip irrigation method. Besides wine-growing, Israeli researchers are studying a range of techniques to grow other crops as well.

As climate plays a lead role to produce wine. We should know about microclimate. It is a climate in which the particular region is slightly warmer or cooler than its surroundings. If u see in Sedona Verde valley, it is situated between the two rivers. This makes that valley slightly cooler than the surrounding region and suitable for wine-growing.

The other main attribute for viticulture is elevation. The Romans knew how important acclivity was for great graph wines and says" Bacchus loves hills". Vines on hills are stronger and create grapes with many more features than those on flat plains. Although this valley maintaining the arid conditions, Fortunately, the Sedona Verde Valley has tons of elevation changes throughout the region and produces great wine.
