MYTH:-
Ghee causes weight gain and obesity
TRUTH:-
Ghee contributes to weight loss and healthy digestion
EXPLANATION:-
Ghee is rich in omega 3 (docosahexaenoic acid) and omega 6 (conjugated linolenic acid) fatty acids, which have shown to increase the lean body mass while reducing the fat mass thus contributing to the weight loss.
Essential amino acids present in the ghee helps in shrinking  the fat cells
Ghee also helps in mobilizing fat cells to be burnt for energy.
Ghee is rich in butyric acid, a short-chain fatty acid that nourishes the cells of the intestines thus improves digestion and contributes for weight loss.                                                                                                                                           
However you should have one thing in your mind over consumption of anything can lead to a weight gain. Healthy quantity of consumption is three teaspoons (15g / 1 tablespoon) of  ghee per day .

Lactose intolerant people should not consume ghee
TRUTH:-
You can consume ghee and its lactose free.
EXPLANATION:-
Ghee is the least likely dairy product to cause unpleasant intolerance symptoms. During the clarification process of making ghee, the milk solids are almost entirely removed, leaving the healthy butter fats behind thus causing no harm.
